OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your passion for animals and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a positive experience for both our furry guests and their owners.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A genuine love for dogs and experience working with them is required.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling big dogs weighing up to 100 lbs within daycare environment and when taking dogs on walks.
  • Excellent observational skills to monitor dog behavior and ensure safety in the daycare environment.
  • A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with fellow staff members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment by regularly cleaning play areas, feeding stations, and restrooms.
  • Monitor dog behavior and interactions, addressing any issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
  • Walk dogs for periods up to 2 hours.
  • Administer basic care such as feeding, administering medications, or providing first aid when necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to dog behavior and care.
