JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet care, grooming, and customer service. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to interact positively with pet owners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in pet grooming is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in dog handling and animal care, including knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques.
• Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is a plus.
• Familiarity with dog training methods is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, hand scissoring, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observations related to their health or behavior.
• Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
• Handle animals with care, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best services possible.
