JOB SUMMARY

We are currently recruiting an experienced Dog Groomer/ Salon Manger. Duties will include meeting greeting customers, taking bookings, general dog grooming salon duties and grooming dogs to breed standard and non breed standard.
The ideal candidate must have a real passion for dog grooming and a love of animals and must be qualified and able to work under pressure
We are looking for an honest, reliable, trustworthy person to fill this role who can groom at least 4-6 dogs per day and who is both able to work alone and as part of a team when required.

Some of your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Coaching others on best practices within the salon
• Delivering an exceptional level of customer experience
• You will lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspire your team, and create a fun environment in which to work and pamper your pet.
• Driving sales within the Salon and have responsibility for the highest standards of the salon and pet grooming.
• Promoting the face book page and website, ensuring material is available to upload and they are maintained and current, encouraging positive feedback on the sites from our valued customers
• You will be responsible for managing, motivating and training other team members and ensure a process is in place to double check each groom before the customer arrives to collect their beloved pet.
• You will be commercially aware and understand the importance of driving salon sales as well as being customer focused.
• You will ensure all administration duties are kept up to date, with new forms completed for new clients each time.

The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, hands-on Salon Manager with previous exposure of working in a customer focused grooming environment.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED DOG GROOMER. WHO HAS AT LEAST 2/3 YEARS OF SALON EXPERIENCE AND KNOWS HOW TO GROOM TO BREED STANDARD.
