The Dog School Administrator will work to the Dog School Manager and will have the following responsibilities:

  • To manage all administrative budgeting and financial requirements for the Dog School and Surrey & Sussex Police Dog Unit. This also includes the puppy breeding scheme, kennelling and courses that are run at the Training School.
  • To provide effective oversight management of the administrative and finance systems that support the requirements of the Surrey Police Dog Training School and Operational Dog Section.
  • To manage the throughput of force, national and international students at the school ensuring that they receive a quality service in relation to all aspects of the courses and clear communications on the customers’ requirements, including invoicing, course instructions and accommodation management.
  • To administer the BTEC award system as delivered by the school.
  • To manage the day to day running of the Dog School premises arranging repairs, replacements, restocking and Veterinary services to ensure the smooth running of the School and Operational Section
