DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:The DOH Notification Clerk responsibilities include:

  • Is committed to the mission of Kanad Hospital and agrees to work as a team member with all staff
  • Able to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
  • Set, monitor and achieve personal performance goals
  • Maintain high standard of patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collect data from the paper/electronic medical records and enter it in the DOH notification system
  • Ensure the data reported to the e-notification system are accurate, complete and within the time period.
  • Perform quality and compliance checks on the notification reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments (physician, nursing team, laboratory, etc.) to ensure documentation are complete and accurate
  • Maintain a register of all notification reports
  • Develop routine reports and correspondence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

COMPETENCY STANDARDSClinical/Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to work independently and be attentive to detail, and maintain and positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize scheduling of work
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all hospital information
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and writing
  • Must be proficient in word, excel and Power Point

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years related experience.
Medical Background or Experience require
