To support our strategic ambition of becoming the energy sector’s go-to technology partner, we’re looking for a Domain Expert in our Geoscience Data Software team. This high-impact role ensures our customers fully unlock the value of our geoscience data management products. You’ll help deliver excellent data-management projects, and ensure real-world insights consistently drive the evolution of our software.
You’ll play a critical role in guiding our product development, shaping new features based on customer needs, and turning users into enthusiastic product advocates. Alongside this you will have an operational role to support our customers through our subsurface data service solutions and deliver great third-line technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Technical leadership: Provide advanced technical guidance for data software operations and data management projects, ensuring quality and consistency across the team. Develop and promote best practices, workflows, and technical standards.
  • Sales enablement: Support global product presentations, demos, and webinars to engage clients and drive product adoption. Equip sales teams with Quick Guides, sales kits, and training materials to enhance sales performance.
  • Training and mentorship: Train new staff in software products and workflows, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Mentor team members to strengthen technical skills and domain expertise.
  • Product innovation: Identify new functionality or product opportunities based on client needs and feedback. Collaborate with product owners, managers and engineering teams to align product development with market demands.
  • Testing and UI design: Contribute to UI design discussions and assist with second-line testing to refine and improve products. Ensure product functionality aligns with client and market requirements.
