Description
Operate and maintain mediation platforms with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability. Design and implement rules for data filtering, deduplication, and enrichment before delivery to downstream systems. Collaborate with network, IT, and billing teams to ensure seamless data integration across platforms. Understand, configure, and tune mediation rules for efficient high-volume CDR processing. Perform data reconciliation across network elements, mediation, and billing systems to ensure data integrity. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in mediation and billing data in a timely manner. Monitor mediation system health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for mediation-related incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions. Hands-on experience with telecom mediation platforms (e.g., DigitalRoute, Comptel, or similar). Proficiency in SQL and Linux/Unix shell scripting. Strong understanding of telecom network architecture and concepts. Familiarity with key network elements: MSC, MME, SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, OCS, IN, SGW, SMF. Awareness of telecom billing, revenue assurance, and fraud detection practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Experience with mediation in a 5G or hybrid 4G/5G environment. Exposure to OSS/BSS frameworks and industry-standard data models. Knowledge of cloud-native tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
