DOMESTIC ASSISTANT – TOWY CASTLE CARE HOME

Location: Uplands, Carmarthen
Pay: £12.40 per hour
Hours: 21 per week | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time | Rolling rota – 3 days on, 3 days off (including weekends and bank holidays)

YOUR ROLE

As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our home clean, safe, and welcoming ensuring our residents feel comfortable and respected every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared areas to a high standard
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors
• Sanitising and restocking bathrooms and toilets
• Disposing of waste safely and hygienically
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment (e.g., fridges, microwaves) as needed
• Reporting maintenance issues or hazards promptly
• Following infection control protocols and COSHH regulations
• Completing cleaning logs and checklists accurately
• Respecting residents’ privacy and working with discretion at all times
