As a Domestic Floor Team Member at Sodexo in Royal Stoke Hospital, Newcastle Road, Stoke-On-Trent ST4 6QG, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital. You will play a key role in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, staff, and visitors. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Specialised cleaning of
  • Mortuary, Catheter Labs, Pathology, Strip cleaning & polishing of floors, Theatres and Barrier room floors, Periodic carpet cleaning and upholstery maintenance, Deep Cleans, Floods and burst pipe clean-up
  • General Cleaning
  • Damp dusting, vacuuming, damp mopping, spray cleaning/buffing of corridors, Emptying bins and waste containers
  • Cleanliness and general care of cleaning equipment
  • Use of automatic floor scrubbers
  • Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff and carryout all duties in accordance with standards specified in training, including Health and Safety precautions.

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 4 on 4 off
  • £10.45 to £12.60 per hour
  • Uniform provided
