Walsh Plumbing Ltd is seeking punctual, reliable, and well-presented Domestic Gas engineers for self-employed/sub-contracted positions, with potential consideration for employment for the right candidate. As integral team members, responsibilities primarily involve private domestic gas boiler installations in and around Hertfordshire.
We are in search of Domestic Gas Engineers who possess confidence in their skillsets, can exercise initiative to oversee their allocated installations, and adeptly find solutions to any arising issues. Emphasis is placed on reliability while working within your own schedule, allowing you to accept boiler installation jobs at your convenience.
At Walsh Plumbing Ltd, we prioritize fairness with all our engineers. We take care of you, and in return, we expect you to look after us.
Engineers are currently earning £350 + Day / Dependent on installation jobs.
Engineers are paid per completed install and are paid weekly.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A SELF-EMPLOYED SUBCONTRACTING GAS ENGINEER:

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in domestic boiler installations, preferably with some plumbing experience (not essential).
2. Possession of valid domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, ACS, etc.) with an Un-vented G3 Certificate (not essential)
3. Public Liability Insurance is mandatory.
4. Own a van and possess a valid UK driving license.
5. Must have personal tools.
6. Maintain a presentable appearance and demonstrate hardworking qualities with effective communication skills with both customers and the team.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
8. Take pride in workmanship.
9. Experience and competence in installing wireless thermostats.
