IMMEDIATE START

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves developing care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the well-being of those you support. Your core skills in home care and communication will be vital, while your premium skills in driving and care home experience will enhance service delivery. With relevant IT skills, you will effectively document care activities, ensuring a high standard of care in a supportive environment.

As a care assistant, your responsibilities will vary, However, your job will mostly consist of:

  • Personal care: Assist with personal hygiene, washing assistance with using the toilet, assistance with incontinence inc. pads, commodes and catheter bags
  • Support with eating and drinking: Ensuring that clients are encouraged to eat a healthy, balanced diet and the correct quantities, prepared meals look appetising and make sure the way they eat is appropriate for the client
  • Assist with mobility: Use of a hoist or other aides, or assistance in standing and movement. Dressing or assisting with any physical activity whereby the clients needs support
  • Domestic duties: Cleaning, emptying bins, washing where requested
