The purpose of this role is to deliver a quality and comprehensive domiciliary care service for residents living within designated retirement villages. The role contributes to enriching residents’ lives.
Hours: Minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 night shifts per week of 10.5 hours each, working from 9:30pm to 8am.
Pay: 12.87 per hour basic plus enhancements for working nights.

Essential

  • Understanding of the needs of older people, including dementia and complex care needs.
  • Ability to attend to personal care needs – including helping with food, bathing, toileting.
  • Good level of IT skills (Microsoft packages).
  • Care certificate or willingness to work towards Care Certificate.

Desirable

  • First Aid, food hygiene and Manual Handling.
