OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Senior Carers to provide essential support and assistance to our amazing service users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting vulnerable young and senior citizens including experience in home care and domiciliary care settings, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or live-in care arrangements. With your experience and our continuous training, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalised care and companionship while supporting them to attain independent healthcare outcomes.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in homecare services or a related field is preferred, particularly in senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
• Willingness and readiness to be trained in case of no previous domiciliary care experience.
• Familiarity with basic first aid practices is advantageous.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed. This may be excluded if you live local.

  Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with meal preparation (where required) and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including behaviour management strategies when necessary.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Support clients with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when required.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive case management of client needs.
