Job Details Job Location: Salt Lake City - Main Distribution Center - SLC, UT Salary Range: $23.00 Hourly Description Job Purpose: - The Donor Database Coordinator at Utah Food Bank is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s donor database to ensure accurate and efficient data management. This role supports the fundraising team by providing timely and precise donor information, enabling effective donor engagement and relationship building. The coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing the organization’s fundraising capabilities and supporting its mission to fight hunger statewide. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the donor database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. - Input, update, and verify donor information, including contact details, donation history, and communication preferences. - Generate and analyze reports to support fundraising strategies and identify trends in donor behavior. - Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and implement donor segmentation and targeted communication strategies. - Provide training and support to staff on database usage and best practices. - Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate with IT support for technical assistance when needed. - Assist in the planning and execution of donor recognition and stewardship activities. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies. - Participate in the evaluation and selection of database tools and software enhancements. Qualifications Required Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in database management or a similar role. - Proven track record of managing donor databases, preferably within a non-profit organization. - Experience in data analysis and reporting to support fundraising initiatives. Required Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in database software, such as Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or similar platforms. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
