Esperanza is seeking a bilingual Donor Engagement Manager to support the continued growth of our individual giving program. This position plays a critical role in deepening donor relationships and expanding philanthropic support through compelling communications, thoughtful stewardship, strategic cultivation, and personalized engagement opportunities.
Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Donor Engagement Manager will join an experienced development team and be responsible for advancing Esperanza’s individual giving program through effective donor engagement strategies that build trust and foster long-term philanthropic partnerships on behalf of the organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for a bilingual (English/Spanish) development professional who is passionate about relationship building, donor-centered fundraising, and advancing Esperanza’s mission of strengthening Hispanic communities through education, community & economic development, the arts, and social change in North Philadelphia and beyond.
Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills include:*

  • A minimum of 2 years fundraising experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills for donor-facing materials (e.g., appeals, impact reports, acknowledgment letters)
  • Familiarity with a donor database or CRM (Salsa CRM experience a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with donors and community members in person, by phone, and in writing
  • Experience planning or supporting donor cultivation and stewardship events
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other Prospecting and Communication Platforms commonly used by nonprofit organizations

Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Hunting Park in North Philadelphia. Based on experience, the starting salary for this position is between $50,000-$60,000/Year with opportunities for advancement. A comprehensive health and wellness benefits package is available.
