REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing/Communications, Journalism, or Public/Media Relations.
  • 5 years Experience in health care marketing and communications including experience in a related field with like responsibilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree
Responsibilities
  • Storytelling & Content Creation: Interview, write, and produce stories showcasing donor, patient, and caregiver impact across print, digital, web, and social media platforms.
  • Strategic Communications: Collaborate with donor engagement leader and philanthropy colleagues to develop and execute communications strategies that inspire philanthropic support and demonstrate the impact of donor contributions both internally and externally.
  • Donor Engagement Support: Partner with gift officers to provide tools, resources, and inspiring stories that support donor cultivation, major and principal gift stewardship, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Brand Stewardship : Help maintain a consistent brand identity for Providence foundations, with thoughtful adjustments to reflect local needs and audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including hospital leaders, clinicians, marketing and communications teams, and others, to align messaging and amplify impact.
  • Mission Alignment: Contribute to the Providence Mission by advancing programs and initiatives that improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
