Position Description The position will be responsible for donor fund accounting for The Signatry donor advised funds in our Give Interactive platform. This position will complete bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries for uploading to our accounting software, and maintain the audit trail for the advisor-managed accounts. This position will serve as the primary point of contact with several of our internal teams to ensure sound financial accounting around a specific set of accounts, and any issues are addressed in a thorough and timely manner Primary Responsibilities Complete month end closing for the advisor-managed accounts activity in Give Interactive, including preparing and recording journal entries, completing financial data uploads, and completing account reconciliations. Maintain an inventory of all advisor-managed accounts within the Give Interactive software and its relationship to the accounting software’s chart of accounts. Manage the organization and storage of monthly brokerage account statements for all advisor-managed accounts. Maintain a solid audit trail for data uploads and journal entries. Partner with the Senior Accountant & Treasury Analyst to ensure that all advisor managed account activity and investment positions are posted in Give Interactive and reconciled to the brokerage account statement monthly. Partner with multiple internal teams to identify, report, and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies. Manage and maintain proficiency in internal software systems by understanding functionality, testing new releases, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Complete other assignments and projects, as assigned. Key Qualifications and Skills Alignment with The Signatry values and statement of faith Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance; 1-2 years of related experience preferred Ability to quickly learn new systems and software and understand their functionality Strong Excel skills, financial analysis capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Effective communication skills with the ability to convey information and analysis clearly Proven ability to conduct research and develop informed recommendations Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects and assignments to completion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast- paced environment and adapt quickly to changes in direction Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Work Location This is a full-time, salary position located in our Corporate office in Overland Park, KS. This position can be a hybrid position combining work from home and in office. Pay Range $61,000 - $65,000 annually Benefits Medical, dental, basic life and disability insurance coverage is 100% covered for the employee.
