Description The Donor Partnerships Manager I plays a key role on FamilyForward’s Development team, supporting donor engagement, stewardship, events, and volunteer activities. The Donor Partnerships Manager I will help manage a small portfolio of donors, contribute to fundraising campaigns and events, and provide meaningful support to the broader development operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll develop and execute comprehensive fundraising and donor engagement plans. You’ll own and manage a portfolio of 90–150 donors, including cultivation and solicitation. You’ll oversee and be accountable for fundraising events and third-party fundraising efforts. You’ll support the cultivation and stewardship of individual, corporate, and foundation donors through personalized outreach, thank-you calls, handwritten notes, and impact updates. You’ll manage a portfolio of donors with the goal of deepening engagement and increasing giving over time. You’ll maintain a curious, energetic, and mission-centered approach to work and collaboration with others in the department and the agency. You’ll proactively ask how you can support others within the department and across the organization. You’ll assist in the planning and execution of donor facing events, including logistics, guest outreach, day of support, and post-event follow up. You’ll partner with others as assigned, including the Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator, to support volunteer engagement efforts and provide excellent experience for FamilyForward volunteers. You’ll conduct donor research and prepare briefing materials for Development leadership and other team members as needed. You’ll collaborate with the Communications and Engagement team to draft donor communications, acknowledgments, and impact stories. You’ll maintain accurate and timely donor records and activity notes in the donor database (Raiser’s Edge NXT). You’ll help coordinate stewardship touchpoints, including holiday cards, thank you gifts, and milestone recognition. You’ll participate in department meetings and contribute ideas to support donor acquisition, retention, and appreciation. You will contribute to grant writing initiatives with a focus on learning and growth. Other duties and projects as assigned. You would be a good fit for this position if you: You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Have 1–2 years of experience (including internships or volunteer roles) in fundraising, communications, customer service, or relationship-based work preferred. Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Possess the ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and stay organized in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Have proficiency with Microsoft Office products. You are comfortable working with databases and willingness to learn Raiser’s Edge NXT. You have enthusiasm for learning, mission-driven work, and developing relationships. Have availability to occasionally support events on evenings or weekends. Working Conditions This position requires sustained periods of work on the computer, including writing/typing. This position requires frequent and prolonged communication with others, in-person and via telephone/virtual conferencing. The employee will be asked to move around rooms or within a space. The employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, or greater with assistance. The employee must have transportation to all Agency sites, including external locations where events are held. This position occasionally requires evening and/or weekend work.
