OVERVIEW

Overview
Nisbet Lodge is a Christian, Not for Profit Long Term Care Home in the heart of Greektown. We are currently charting a new course and seeking an inspired individual to join us in developing a fundraising strategy, fostering relationships with donors and stakeholders, leading fundraising events, creating fundraising initiatives, and enhancing our overall philanthropic efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and customer service, along with experience in managing databases, financial management and a sense of tenaciousness to support our initiatives.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in database management, and financial oversight
  • Demonstrated ability in marketing strategies that effectively communicate organizational goals.
  • possess a compationate nature when undertaking difficult conversations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors and staff.
  • Strong research skills to identify potential funding sources and analyze donor trends.
  • Able to plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship activities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging diverse audiences and conveying our living story and the journey we are taking. Join us in making a meaningful impact through philanthropy!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, non-profit management, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a fundraising/donor relations role
  • proven track record of achieving strategic goals
  • prior experience/relationship fundraising with a Christian organization may be considered an asset.
