Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

At NZBS, Donor Technicians work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and are key members of the Collections team, undertaking blood collection and a number of administrative duties.
As our donors are healthy and go out of their way to give up their time to donate blood, customer service is key to ensuring the donors are provided with a donation experience that encourages their continued support.
This is a fixed term role covering for a temporary internal move starting ASAP to the end of May 2026. Working 40 hours per week, the hours will generally be rostered duties Monday to Saturday, with some varying lengths of days so flexibility is required. Occasional statutory holiday duties may also be required.
Salary starting from $62,677 - $80,491 depending on skills, registration, and experience.
