KCC Group are a market leader in the provision of supply, installation and service of the following products – Glazed Screens & Doors, Fire Resistant Glazing Systems, Facades & Window Systems, Steel Security Doors, Door Hardware, Automatic Doors, Movable Walls, Fire Door Inspections, Access Control and more. As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the addition of a Field Service Technician to join our busy Service Department.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent spoken and written English essential.
• 3 years’ previous experience as a Service Engineer / Technician
• Working knowledge of various manufacturers automatic door products
• Ability to repair, service and install to a high standard
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and plans.
• Be Competent in Using Battery powered drills, Hand tools etc
• A basic understanding of access control equipment – training will be given
• Good communication skills and ability to represent the company in a professional manner
• Hold a current or previously have held ADSA door safety accreditation
• Hold current Safe pass and Manual Handling certs
• Hold a current full clean driving license
• Consideration will be given to time served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc – full training will be given

Work Location: On the roa

• The repair, service and installation of door automation and access control systems to our many clients across the public and private sector
• Attending to callouts as an when required and have a flexible approach to working hours / area
• Recommending appropriate upgrades / repair work and advise the office of the requirements
