Door Hardware and Lock installer is the position we have in Maclock for someone who has basic carpentry skills and mechanical ability. Outstanding chefs, Computer engineers, Artists, musicians and chess players are not really what we need for this job as admirable as those traits are. Knowledge of hand tools, some basic carpentry that we can develop further and a mechanical mind of the most basic kind are attributes that we can develop and help with. It would be unfair to call it an apprenticeship because we will not be needing you to do all types of lock work but if the right person came along we are not entirely opposed to that. The suitability of the person determines salary but it starts at min wage unless you are coming to us with all the skills we eventually need.
