FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Door hardware Installer, you will hit the ground running, performing service and installation work on a wide range of mechanical and electronic lock systems. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting, customer interactions, and onsite assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in door and hardware installation
• Experience with both mechanical and electronic hardware systems (asset)
• Ability to work independently and manage job sites.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and use power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Must be able to start immediately.

• Hang and install wood, steel, and aluminum doors and frames.
• Install, service, and maintain mechanical and electronic door hardware (locks, closers, panic bars, access control devices, etc.)
• Retrofit and upgrade existing doors and hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware and door alignment issues.
• Read and interpret hardware schedules, and technical documents.
• Ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain tools, inventory.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
