WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Door Shop Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the efficient and safe production of quality product, satisfying customer demand, while leading team development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Relationships: You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be a key member of the Halton Hills, ON production team.

At a high-level you will:

  • Lead the production activities of the door shop department within the facility to achieve desired results
  • Develop and engage your team through regular, clear and consistent performance management and personal development
  • Foster an environment of employee engagement by embracing a culture that encourages teamwork, cooperation and continuous improvement.
  • Create a safe working environment by providing safety leadership while ensuring regulatory and procedure compliance
  • Improve value-add by enhancing yield, optimizing processing, reducing process waste, aligning product specifications with materials.
  • Initiate improvements to remove bottlenecks, improve quality, and lower costs utilizing Lean, or other process improvement activities
