JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role involves monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing excellent customer service while effectively managing any potential issues that may arise.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
  • A valid Door Supervisor license is required for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure the safety of all individuals.
  • Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to deter and detect any suspicious activities.
  • Enforce venue policies, including age restrictions and dress codes, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services if required.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct and taking appropriate action.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reports on any disturbances or breaches of conduct.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving security measures within the venue.
