OVERVIEW

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing a welcoming environment for guests. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in surveillance or loss prevention roles is highly desirable.
  • Certification in First Aid is an advantage, enabling you to assist in emergencies effectively.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with guests and staff.
  • A valid Door Supervisor licence is required for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of patrons and staff.
  • Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform thorough checks on individuals entering the venue, including bag searches when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, applying first aid as needed until emergency services arrive.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and ensure a secure environment for all guests.
  • Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences that may require further attention or follow-up.
