SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, customer service and professional attitude
  • Security awareness
  • English – written and verbal, additional language will be an advantage
Responsibilities
  • Greeting and welcome the guests upon their arrival in a friendly and caring manner according to the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards
  • Ensure security of doors and entryways prior to opening doors for all incoming guests; monitor the entry and exit of visitors and guests
  • Provide guidance and direct guests to the correct destination
  • Provide general information about Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and our services
  • Open car doors for all guests coming out of a vehicle, help with the luggage and bring it to the hotel in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest requests in a polite and efficient manner such as calling a taxi or giving directions, refer requests to relevant staff if needed to ensure positive experience of the guests
  • Be aware of all hotel products and services as well as on tourist and business travel information, that may be of any interest to our guests
  • Control the traffic ensuring that there are no vehicles blocking the hotel entrance
  • Help housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the Emirates Palace main entrance area
  • Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time, as directed by your supervisor or manager
