About the role As a Case Worker, this is your opportunity to support community members to meet their goals through community partnerships and collaboration. Reporting to the Regional Manager/Site Coordinator, this is a permanent full-time position, working across Sunbury, Sunshine and Brimbank Doorways sites. How you will make an impact Work collaboratively with Church leaders, Volunteers, and other co-located Mission Leaders to deliver an integrated approach to delivering Doorways at the local site Build and maintain relationships within TSA and with local community stakeholders to identify local resources, community needs, and opportunities for collaboration Assessment of community members’ specific needs, strengths and identification of interrelated issues and needs Develop high quality case plans with community members to identify achievable goals using a strength-based approach. Use prevention and early intervention strategy and response to deliver support and services to people experiencing disadvantage and financial hardship Provide effective response to people experiencing longer term disadvantage and generational poverty. Support community members to build and increase capacity and develop independent living skills towards self determination What you will bring Degree level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or other Community/Human Services discipline is highly desirable, or a Diploma and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the community services sector would be considered.
