High school diploma or equivalent.   Preferences: One (1) year of administrative or clerical work experience. Knowledge of the Florida Administrative Code and Register. Ability to work independently. Work history demonstrating positive customer service experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.   Duties and Responsibilities: Assures the production and quality control of all rule text for the internet publication of the FAC. Controls the time frame needed to complete tasks and meet deadlines when formatting and submitting the rule text for publication in the FAC. Responsible for preparing the publication of the electronic version of the Florida Administrative Code, including proofreading, typesetting, and correcting the FAC rules, editing final adopted rules and uploading them to FLRules.org daily. Conducts research for older and current versions of the Florida Administrative Code. Assists in preparing documents for transfer to the state archives. Provides assistance in other areas of the section during peak work periods, such as answering agency and public requests for information. Provides assistance and performs other work related duties as required.   Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of the Florida Administrative Code and Register procedures and practices. Knowledge of English language grammar and spelling. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the Florida Administrative Code and Register. Ability to work independently. Ability to proofread and edit Florida Administrative Code rule text.
