BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a .Net Developer position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and work is onsite with an anticipated 10-30 hours per week (up to 1659 hours per contract year). Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of designated Program Manager.
  • Participate in and lead activities.
  • On-site Presence Required: This position is primarily on-site at client’s Tallahassee office. While limited remote work may be permitted, the selected candidate must be available for an initial on- site setup and for regular in-person work and meetings. Preference will be given to local or regional candidates.
  • Work with the incumbent contractor during an initial transition period to support knowledge transfer, reduce ramp-up time, and ensure continuity of services.
  • Develop, maintain, support, and enhance software applications in conformance with the adopted methodologies, standards, and practices.
  • Provide .NET software application support inclusive of designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications.
  • Provide MS SQL database application support inclusive of data design/modeling, coding, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications.
  • Provide SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and views.
  • Provide configuration management for software application objects.
  • Manage the movement of code from development to testing and then to production, ensuring proper version control, documentation, and coordination with the development team.
  • Provide analytical services on systems to implement user‐defined requirements.
  • Provide analytical services on systems to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff.
  • Produce work estimates to implement user‐defined requirements.
  • Perform testing on system changes to meet user‐defined requirements.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff.
  • Produce status reports on the implementation of user‐defined requirements.
  • Produce accounting of hours worked by task.
  • Provide analytical services on processes to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Follow client’s IT processes and coordinate with other IT staff to ensure compliance with client standards.
  • Serve as technical consultant to staff.
  • Comply with and enforces all agency policies, procedures, and security policies.
  • Provide Technical Training (Knowledge Transfer), as required for IT Support.
  • Adapt to changes in daily work plans based on support needs.
  • Provide up to five (5) hours per month of on-call support, in coordination with designated Program Manager, for planned updates, code or schema changes, urgent issues, or troubleshooting, including occasional weekend or after-hours needs.
