Position: Double Bender Operator – Rebar Machines
Location: Pembroke, ON
Pay Rate: $19 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Evening Shift — Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Training: First 2 weeks on Day Shift (starts immediately)
Transportation: Own reliable vehicle required
One of our clients is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and physically capable Double Bender Operator to join their production team. This role involves operating heavy machinery, preparing production cut sheets and plans, and supporting general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a Double Bender machine or similar rebar bending equipment
· Basic computer skills
· Strong attention to detail and efficiency
· Mechanical aptitude and basic machine maintenance knowledge
· Physically capable of lifting (35-45 kg), bending, standing for long periods
· Good written and verbal English communication skills
· Team player willing to assist where needed
· Willing to work overtime when required

· Sort materials from delivery slips into correct categories
· Calculate optimal cutting lengths to minimize waste
· Prepare basic sketches/plans to assist shop workers
· Colour-code orders to ensure delivery accuracy
· Operate Double Bender machine and related equipment safely
· Pick and identify structural steel/rebar from warehouse racks
· Feed and unload materials from processing machines
· Assist other machine operators and process control as needed
· Safely handle, stack, and sort heavy parts (up to 45 kg/99 lbs)
· Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
· Support other plant personnel as required
