This role will play a key part in driving our downstream business, including Filtration, Chromatography, and related services. As a Technical Application Expert – Downstream, you will : Manage and support the opportunities of Downstream business throughout the sales process from lead to sale Qualify leads in close collaboration with internal stakeholders Present and position customer-centric value propositions and sales strategies Evaluate technical requirements and prepare tailored solutions Develop the competitive tools such as the technical presentations and the comparison sheets Act as a technical expert, aligning customer requirements with internal solution and capabilities Create and Drive the localized initiatives to strengthen market presence Collaborate with Marketing team for user group meetings, exhibitions Provide Internal/External training about Downstream products Who you are : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biotechnology, Chemical, Process Engineering or related field 5+ years’ experience in Biotech and Downstream process and/or sales/marketing within the biopharmaceutical Industry Strong technical understanding in Bioprocessing, ideally with hands-on experience in Downstream process Good understanding and knowledge of the biopharmaceutical market and Biotech processing Solid experience in technical sales, business development and application consulting Ability to work cross-functionally and translate customer needs into actionable solutions Language : Japanese and English (both written and spoken) Recruiting Contact: Maiko Yamasue
