JOB SUMMARY
Assist research faculty in the creation of technical data packages for sponsored research. This position will create configuration controlled 2D drawings (mechanical and electrical) using source material provided by research faculty. Other duties will include maintaining organization of CAD libraries (2D blocks/notes, 3D reference parts) and generating 3D models of components for use in design applications. This position will interact on a regular basis with: research faculty and support staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: research faculty, professional and support staff. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School or GED

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred - CAD Technician, CAD Operator, Drafter’s Assistant, CSWA
