Qualifications VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Drafter CAD Operator III Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma/GED Experience: Three (3) years of experience drafting/illustrating in the electronics field, to include: computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD, planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items. Experience with DoD processes and procedures. Proficient at utilizing Model-Base System Engineering (MBSE) tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler. Utilizing DevSecOps tools for model automation and integration such as Cameo Modeling Connector for Eclipse, Cameo Simulation Player, Cameo Data dictionaries, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Jira. Secret level Clearance required. Job Description: This operator prepares complete sets of complex drawings or computer models that include multiple views, detail drawings, and assembly drawings. Drawings or models include complex design features that require considerable drafting skill to visualize and portray. Assignments regularly require the use of mathematical formulas to draw land contours or to compute weights, center of gravity, load capacities, dimensions, quantities of material, etc. The Draft/CAD Operator works from sketches, computer models, and verbal information supplied by an engineer, architect, or designer to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments. This operator selects required information from computer programs, and internet sites, precedents, manufacturers' catalogs, and technical guides. This operator independently resolves most of the problems encountered. Supervisor or design originator may suggest methods of approach or provide advice on unusually difficult problems. Essential Duties of the Job: Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard. Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
