Description

Drafter Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce and revise designs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design software and tools. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and changes. Review and Modifications: Revise drawings and designs based on feedback and input from team members or clients. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design versions, specifications, and documents. Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on drawings for accuracy and compliance with specifications. Project Support: Assist in the preparation of design proposals and project bids. Budget Awareness: Understand budget constraints and make recommendations to reduce costs while maintaining quality. Technical Problem Solving: Analyze design issues and propose practical solutions. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients for project clarifications and to present designs. Training & Development: Stay current with the latest industry trends and design technologies through continuous learning. Educational Background Minimum: Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Professional Experience Proven experience as a drafter or in a similar role. Familiarity with architectural, civil, mechanical, or electrical drafting methodologies. Technical Skills Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). Experience with additional design tools and software is an advantage. Saudi National Only Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
