CS: Making Buildings Better® SCOPE OF POSITION: Prepares clear, complete and accurate product placement plans, detail drawings and supporting documentation necessary for project completion. Manage and coordinate the progress of orders by means of review, meetings, follow up and communication with internal departments and customers until project completion. Recaps job quantities and models for comparison with Estimator’s quotation Reviews architectural change proposals, requests for information, and addenda drawings for effect on scope of work Answers specific or general technical questions from architects, contractors, and representatives Creates written requests for information Coordinates and converses with internal departments to ensure accuracy and final fabrication of project requirements Responsible for meeting committed dates and performing tasks as assigned in an efficient manner Have complete knowledge and understanding of projects Modify standard products to accommodate job specific conditions Attend all meetings as required for successful completion of project Have an understanding and knowledge of our products, fabrication processes, building construction, and contract document knowledge Maintain all electronic or physical files as required by department Implement and deliver solution-driven strategies Performs other duties assigned by management KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required) Associates degree in Drafting, Design, or Architectural Design Ability to use AutoCAD Ability to read and understand rough or detailed sketches or notes, analyze, and interpret contract documents Ability to effective present information and respond to questions from internal departments, customers, representatives, contractors, and architects. Basic mathematical skills including but not limited to fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload and schedule effectively Communication skills necessary to work effectively with all people necessary Organizational skills including multi tasking and overseeing several projects at one time Must be detail oriented Must have excellent communication skills Supervisory Responsibility: None
