THE ROLE: Drafter/Detailer LOCATION: Tolleson, AZ REPORTS TO: Engineering Lead POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt OUR OPPORTUNITY: The Drafter/Detailer performs a variety of drafting activities including preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings and preparing/updating installation drawings for projects. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Use computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs. * Convert 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D models using Autodesk Inventor. * Create cut lists and hardware lists. * Assist customers installers with assembly instructions and support. * Answer questions from the shop as they arise through production YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of job-related experience. * Must be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD or similar program. * Ability to read and understand technical prints and drawings. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. * ERP experience is a plus but not required.
