OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support various engineering projects. As a Drafter, you will collaborate with engineers and designers to produce high-quality designs using advanced drafting software. Your expertise in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks will be essential in bringing innovative concepts to life.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCAD2020 or higher. Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical design principles and the ability to create accurate schematics.
• Knowledge of Structural materials (e.g. Steel, Concrete, etc)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices in drafting is preferred.
• A degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Create detailed technical drawings and schematics based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and MicroStation to draft designs for mechanical systems and components.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and ensure accuracy in all drafts.
• Revise and update existing drawings as necessary to reflect changes in design or specifications.
• Prepare layouts for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
