JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drafting Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering (CNC programs) that meet project specifications and client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as proficiency in various design software. The Drafting Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Mosaic CAD, MicroStation, and Sketchup.
  • Strong ability to draft detailed schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience with 2D animation for design presentations is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and design engineering plans and specifications using CAD software.
  • Create detailed schematics and models utilizing Mosaic software
  • Draft technical documentation and reports to support project development.
  • Turn information into CNC code for production
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate designs into overall project plans.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with industry standards.
