JOB SUMMARY:

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing technical drawings and plans used in construction, engineering, or manufacturing. They work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate concepts and sketches into detailed, accurate blueprints and models using CAD software and other tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Knowledge of engineering or architectural principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics based on specifications.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD software to create 2D/3D designs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure final versions are accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Adhere to industry and company design standards and guidelines.
• Conduct site visits or measurements when necessary.
• Assist in estimating materials and project costs when required.
