SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software tools.
• Strong knowledge of elevator systems, installation practices, and related mechanical and electrical components.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes, safety standards, and accessibility regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing creation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into functional, detailed designs.
• Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Experience in drafting for vertical transportation or elevator-related projects is a plus.

EDUCATION:

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in CAD software or specialized elevator design courses are a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience working as a draftsman, preferably in the elevator or construction industry.
• Previous work in designing, drafting, and detailing systems or machinery is highly valued.

• Produce detailed, accurate, and scalable technical drawings and layouts for elevator systems and related components.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Interpret and modify design drawings based on customer feedback, specifications, and site conditions.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create 2D and 3D drawings for elevator installations and modernization projects.
• Review and update as-built drawings to reflect changes during construction or modifications on existing installations.
