POSITION SUMMARY

Draftsman: to provide detailed engineering drawings and support for both standard and new product development.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Secondary degree or certification in drafting or engineering
· 5 years’ experience working with design or proven skills in “Soild Works” and “AutoCad”

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, company prints, and safety documents.
· Ability to effectively work with other co-workers as a team.
· Proven ability to effectively use “Solid Works” and “AutoCad” design Software
Rate range: $25 to $30 per hour.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

· Must be proficient in “Solid Works” and “AutoCAd” design software programs and can demonstrate them.
· Have a understanding of mechanical design and its applications for fit and function of mechanical things
· Must have mathematical and analytical skills and can demonstrate them
· Work with manufacturing to supply drawings of mfg. orders, which includes providing new drawings or updating drawings as needed. Also, to provide new product development support.
· Provide DXF files for the torch table to use for cutting each job.
· Work well with both sales and manufacturing as new ideas are discussed and implemented.
