JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Experienced Structural Draftsman to join our client’s engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting, with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed drawings in compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in the UAE/Gulf region.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit and other drafting software is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of structural detailing and construction practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Prepare and develop detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Interpret engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Modify and update drawings as per site conditions, consultant feedback, or project revisions.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, standards, and project specifications.
