Job Title: Draftsman – Marble Works
Location: National Industries Park

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D & 3D CAD drawings for marble and stonework, including cladding, flooring, countertops.
• Prepare 3D renderings for client submission.
• Develop shop drawings, cutting lists, slab optimization plans and fabrication drawings based on architectural and interior design plans.
• Prepare spot details showing the connection of marble/stone elements to other materials such as stone, concrete, metal, or wood.
• Develop book matching layouts by analyzing marble slab veins and patterns.
• Collaborate with engineers and site teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into production.
• Interpret hand sketches and conceptual drawings to produce accurate and professional shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits (if necessary) to take measurements and verify site conditions.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in marble or stone works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, and familiarity with software like SketchUp, or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of marble fabrication techniques, material behavior, and installation methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai
Visa: Provided
Timings: 8:30am to 5:30am from Monday to Saturday
