JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman – Infrastructure with strong experience in utilities design, including stormwater drainage, sewer networks, HDPE piping, manholes, and roadworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality technical drawings and plans that align with engineering standards and project specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant CAD software.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure utilities including stormwater, sewerage, and roadworks.
• Experience working with HDPE piping systems, manholes, and drainage details.
• Familiarity with local design standards, specifications, and authority regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and technical reports.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for infrastructure projects including:
• Stormwater and sewerage networks
• Utility layouts (water, electrical, telecom, etc.)
• HDPE and other pipe systems
• Manholes, chambers, and drainage structures
• Road cross-sections, profiles, and alignment
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and produce technical drawings accordingly.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, consultants, and authorities.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, drawings, and CAD files.
• Perform site visits when required to gather data and verify drawing accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of utility networks.
