JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsman Technician with an NQF Level 6 or higher qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and technical drawing. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in CAD software and a keen eye for detail to produce accurate technical drawings for engineering and construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• NQF Level 6 or higher qualification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting and design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other drafting software
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and industry standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop designs
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Revise drawings based on feedback and project modifications
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and technical documentation
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify drawings if required
• Assist in preparing bills of materials and project documentation
