POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that guide the design and construction process. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs are accurate and meet project specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong understanding of design and architectural principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in 3D modeling or rendering.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
• Familiarity with project management software.

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Interpret architectural, engineering, and design concepts into accurate and clear drawings.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address design challenges.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Perform site visits, if required, to collect data or verify measurements.
