POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented draftsmen with strong AutoCAD experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for producing accurate and code-compliant construction drawings for custom and production homes, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring design intent is executed with precision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (required); experience with Revit or other design software is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in residential drafting, architectural design, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and residential detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to grow with the company.

• Prepare complete and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD for single-family residential projects.
• Collaborate with our design team to translate conceptual designs into buildable plans.
• Revise existing drawings as needed to reflect design changes, redlines, or code updates.
• Ensure all plans meet local building codes, zoning regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a library of standard plans and drafting templates.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and permit offices.
• Maintain accurate records of project revisions and documentation.
