We are seeking experienced DRAFTSPERSONS to join our busy workshop on a full time and permanent basis.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
  • Prepare both rough sketches and detailed design work with CADD systems
  • Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials
  • Outline the construction process of the project on the technical drawings
  • Communicate with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Prepare, review and redraft alongside the engineering team.
  • Ensure final designs are compliant with AS/NZ & ISO standards, including building regulations
  • Carry out design and development of products, including verification and validation of designs
  • Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in CADD systems/software.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • At least more than 4-years of experience in CADD
  • Profound knowledge in CAD software e.g AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
  • Must have great work ethics
