As part of the Kiwa Group, we're backed by a global network of 12,000+ staff across 35+ countries About the role Our Hamilton office is looking for a Civil Engineering Drafter/Draftsperson with 2-5 years of experience and a strong understanding of Autodesk Civil 3D to support technical documentation for CMW projects. This position offers supportive team environment and exposure to a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, mining, energy and land development. This role is designed to develop your understanding as a civil designer and your practical application of engineering knowledge in drafting and design. Responsibilities Prepare and support detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications for geotechnical and civil engineering projects Revise and maintain drawings, diagrams, and schematics to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements and drafting standards. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and cross‑functional project teams Assist senior engineers in preparing technical documentation and contribute to the practical application of engineering knowledge in design and drafting tasks Apply strong organisational skills, initiative, and problem‑solving to meet deadlines, uphold quality, and manage multiple drafting tasks effectively. What You'll Need Diploma or advanced diploma from a recognised tertiary institution in civil and structural engineering or similar will be given priority. Relevant work experience in a civil or geotechnical engineering consultancy. Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong team player. Proactive, clear, confident and articulate communicator. Demonstrates high level of initiative and problem solving. Able to meet deadlines. Demonstrate a strong customer service ethic.
